Functionality plays a crucial role as I create pieces that serve a purpose while also being visually appealing.

Sculpted lips are the heart of my ceramic art, each piece displays a unique human expression of emotion, personality, and individuality. The shapes and textures of this collection share silent stories of vulnerability and depth. Each crafted lip encourages an unspoken connection, turning functional art into a conversation leaving a lingering impression of intrigue.

Through the fusion of modern surrealism & the sculpted curved forms with the clays organic nature, I seek to illustrate the striking harmony that can emerge when disparate styles coexist.

My ceramic pieces are adorned with gilded, matte & earthy glazes that mimic the organic, effortless alluring tones found in nature. I work with various stoneware clay bodies including; speckled, red, dark brown & B-mix. Different clays have varying proportions of ‘grog,’ which are better suited for sculpting to ensure strength & extra support.
